WA silica processing changes apply under General Regulations, excluding mine sites
Western Australia commenced enhanced crystalline-silica processing requirements under its General Regulations on September 1, 2024. The changes include reporting relevant high-risk processing exceedances and expressly exclude mine sites from this General Regulations package.
Mine sites require a separate assessment under their governing rules.
