Washington aligns wildfire-smoke AQI references
Washington updated wildfire-smoke AQI references effective May 16, 2025 following EPA's revised AQI mapping. The change aligned the displayed AQI values while retaining the underlying PM2.5 concentration-based requirements.
This amendment does not reduce the rule's underlying PM2.5 concentration thresholds.
