Victoria ban has no pre-existing contract transition or legacy notification requirement

Victoria's engineered-stone prohibition took effect July 1, 2024 without a transition for pre-existing contracts. Permitted legacy processing remains controlled under Victorian OHS law, but WorkSafe notification is not required for that work.

Scope to keep in mind

The absence of a notification requirement does not remove applicable controls or health-monitoring duties.
